Allyson Ayers was born and raised in Rhode Island. She attended Franklin Pierce University with a double major in Fine Arts and Graphic Communication where she graduated class valedictorian. She's been shooting with digital cameras since they were the size of a small shoe box, at a time when no one had even heard of a megapixel. Since her youth, Allyson has always had a deep and abiding love of the past. She used to joke that she was born a few centuries too late and found every opportunity to travel back in time, including volunteering at the historic Maxwell House in Warren for a number of years. It is this curiosity with the past and her own family history that makes it so much fun to help in the creation of new histories through wedding photography.
